Fonte Santa Manor House exceeded all my expectations during my recent city break in Porto. the host and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. the sustainability features, such as the use of natural materials, added a unique touch to the overall charm of the place, which perfectly blended old-world elegance with modern comforts. The breathtaking view from our window overlooking the garden and the Douro River with Porto in the backdrop was simply mesmerizing. We even enjoyed a lovely dinner while admiring the twinkling lights of Porto from the riverside. the comfortable rooms with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom equipped with luxurious toiletries made our stay even more delightful. The location of the manor is ideal for exploring Porto, being close to major attractions like the Douro River, the Gaia Cable Car, and the Camara de Gaia. Augusto, the proprietor, was attentive and shared valuable insights about the local area, including recommendations for exploring the famous port wines. Overall, Fonte Santa Manor House is a hidden gem in Porto, offering not just a place to stay but a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy retreat with personalized service and a touch of Portuguese hospitality.
